Evaluation Report
The Evaluation Report on the Pilot of the Refuge and Respect Domestic Violence Resource Manual
This pilot was with a large local authority covering a population of 1 million people and took place over 2009-10.
This report contains:
- Important lessons about the implementation of a domestic violence and employees strategy
- Information about the levels of understanding and awareness of domestic violence within the work force
- Staff perceptions of their employer's approach to domestic violence
- The implications for children's services of a workplace strategy on domestic violence, which raised questions about how services are provided to families experiencing domestic violence. Children's services staff interviewed in this report had clear and important things to say about this.
The resource pack comes with a hard copy of the evaluation, if you just want the evaluation report it is down loadable here.
The evaluation was undertaken by Neil Blacklock, Nicola Sharp with Thangam Debbonaire; Published June 2011. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the report and made the pilot possible.
