Young People's Services

Respect's Young People's Services (YPS) focus on teenagers' use of violence in close relationships (ie to boyfriends, girlfriends, siblings and parents).  The YPS is currently funded from Comic Relief and the DCSF Children and Young People's Fund and is involved in two main strands of work:

  1. Developing, evaluating and disseminating a toolkit of those working with the 13-19 year olds around their violence in relationships.  The toolkit will be ready to be trained out to all practitioners across the UK at the end of 2010.  Please contact us if you are interested in being kept up to date on this.
  2. Facilitating a network for projects and practitioners who are working with young people's use of violence across the UK.  To this end we help to run six-monthly practice sharing seminars (see below) and are also national helpline and find local services for those in need.  If you think your service might be relevant please download the form from here

  • Nikki Rummer, Tender - The Results of an External Evaluation of the TRUST Project - Promoting Healthy Relationships in Schools'.

This is a not for profit event and we have tried to keep costs to a minimum.  The price for the day will be £55 including lunch and refreshments.
