It is well documented in the research that recent separation is a risk factor for domestic homicide, and that most domestic homicides occur within 18 months of separation. This PDD covers post separation harassment in detail and looks at strategies for supporting perpetrators to “let go”.

- Explore specific tools such as the post separation harassment power and control wheel
- Express empathy without colluding with perpetrators who may be newly separated
- Share good practice around delivering content relating to letting go or moving on.
