After being told he might make a decent officer while working as a barman in Wetherspoons (fun times), Christian ran with it and joined Sussex Police as a PCSO in 2006. He has been in criminal justice and community work ever since.
His seven years in Family Intervention Projects in Brighton and Crawley gave valuable insight into domestic abuse and the human condition, working with a variety of multiple needs and a range of people, from toddlers to great grandparents.
After spending 2 ½ years with the Drive Project as a case worker in West Sussex, Christian joined Connect as their Skills Enhancer. He facilitated Culture of Engagement training which aimed to support practitioners in working with those who use abusive behaviour.
Christian now facilitates the professionals webchat, giving tailored advice to anyone coming into contact with those using harmful behaviours.
He qualified as a journalist in 2013, has two cheeky kids and loves sleeping.
