With fifteen years’ experience in the criminal justice and domestic violence sector Alistair has started his career as a Probation Officer in London.

Following this he managed client services including counselling, social work and domestic abuse perpetrator programmes for a charity in South Auckland, before joining the New Zealand Department of Corrections managing a range of services.

Returning to the UK after 5 years in “paradise” he undertook the management of a Drive pilot site in West Sussex in 2017 until he joined Respect in 2019. Alistair has extensive experience in the delivery and development of programmes and is passionate about supporting change and well-being.

In his current role he supports agencies seeking accreditation for their work with perpetrators and survivors of domestic abuse.

When not being in touch with his emotional side he enjoys the soulful tones of black and death metal. Not everyone’s cup of tea.
