Can my service/ I arrange bespoke training from Respect?

Does the Respect training team deliver online, or in-person?

Our trainer can deliver dynamic, engaging training online or, if you prefer, can travel to you to deliver training in-person (travel and accommodation to be covered by commissioning service, within the UK/ Eire)

What are some examples of bespoke training Respect has delivered?

  • Engaging Homeless Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse
  • Motivational Interviewing and Engaging Perpetrators

  • Engaging Perpetrators (Patients and Staff) in a Healthcare Setting
  • HR Policies that Hold Perpetrators to Account

We’ve trained:

  • Probation
  • Health workers
  • Education professionals
  • Drug & alcohol workers

  • VAWG workers
  • Local authority staff
  • MARAC Chairs
  • Commissioners
  • Academics

Can I commission an existing training that I can see on your Open Access training pages to be exclusively delivered to my staff?

Yes! Services regularly commission us to deliver our ‘off-the-shelf’ training to a specific group on a date that suits their organisation. This ensures that they can train a large number of staff at the same time, in a training setting exclusive to their organisation.

What if I don’t see anything on the website that meets my training needs?

We can modify/combine any of our existing training – and also develop brand-new training.

How much does bespoke training cost?

The cost of training is determined by a sliding scale, dependent on whether your service is a Respect Member or not, as well as on your annual income. If we need to develop new material just for you, there will also be additional costs associated with this.

Our training is affordable and competitive, and we would be delighted to have a chat with you to discuss costings with you.

Can I meet with Respect to discuss my training needs?

Yes! We regularly meet with services from many sectors to discuss their practice issues and staff training needs. Get in touch today to arrange a chat.
