Christian is a Regional Practice Lead for Make a Change having joined the team in April 2022.
He has previously been a Family Intervention Project Keyworker in Crawley and Brighton & Hove where he trained on the Living Without Violence Programme. This highlighted the necessity and importance of working with those using harmful behaviours in relationships.
He has also been a PCSO and PC in Sussex Police and the Metropolitan Police respectively, a Drive Caseworker working with those using high levels of harm, a Deputy Manager for West Sussex Connect which took a whole family approach to domestic abuse and latterly a Practise Advisor on the Drive Project supporting the South London sites. Christian is an associate trainer for Rockpool and Safelives and recently delivered the Engage training which encourages all practitioners to engage those using harmful behaviours.
Christian qualified as a journalist in 2013 and loves to write anything – stories, music, even the shopping list.
