Gabi first began working with perpetrators of domestic abuse in 2012 while studying for her degrees in Psychology (BSc) and Mental Health Practice (MSc). She spent some years in the NHS as a clinical mental health practitioner in hospitals and prisons, before moving back to the domestic abuse sector where she has worked in various frontline roles including Perpetrator Programme Coordinator and Senior Specialist IDVA (Child Protection). She also works freelance across London as a trainer and facilitator delivering community domestic abuse and perpetrator intervention training, and workshops and programmes at schools and colleges.

For the last few years, Gabi’s focus has been on improving pathways to accountability for perpetrators within family and safeguarding systems, and she has worked with local authorities across London providing community advocacy for survivors of domestic abuse, supporting practitioners with casework, providing multi-agency consultation, and conducting direct interventions with perpetrators of domestic abuse.
