Rupert Bagenal

Rupert joined Respect as a Safe and Together Implementation Lead in November 2021. He is a qualified social worker and started his career in 2014 working in statutory children’s services.

In 2019 Rupert joined Islington’s Keel Project. This was a fifteen-month pilot, set-up as a multiagency team focused on trying new ways of working with families experiencing domestic abuse.

More recently Rupert worked within Islington’s Violence Against Women and Girls Workforce Development Team. In this role, Rupert developed and delivered domestic abuse training tailored to the needs of individual teams and agencies across Islington, as well as providing individual case consultations to practitioners.
