‘Living a life by permission’: the experiences of male victims of domestic abuse during Covid-19

Respect's Men’s Advice Line and Durham University have launched a report of research in the experiences of male victims during Covid-19.

The research was commissioned by the Men’s Advice Line and carried out by Professor Nicole Westmarland and Dr Stephen Burrell from the Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse (CRiVA) at Durham University with funding from the Home Office.

This research details the experiences of 344 male victims of domestic abuse, 221 of whom made contact by phone and 123 by email.
