Further Development of Asset

Asset has been in use by all YOTs since April 2000 and is a central part of the effective practice agenda for the youth justice system (Youth Justice Board 2002, 2003a). It is also now used as an important source of data for major research projects (for example, Moore et al2004; Feilzer and Hood 2004). 

This study builds on the earlier research and presents the results of recent work on the
development of Asset and further investigation of its validity and reliability.
