We have revised the guidance for work with those who perpetrate domestic during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this revision, we have integrated key learnings since March 2020.

Whilst the current restrictions are similar to April last year, we are in a stronger position, better prepared and informed to respond to these restrictions and deliver the best possible responses to keep victims and survivors safe.

The principles of our work remain the same: survivors’ safety is at the centre of our approach to work with perpetrators.

Respect Guidance for DA Perpetrators Practitioners

Alongside this, we have produced new guidance for those using video conference platforms to work with perpetrates of domestic abuse.

We would like to acknowledge the work of Respect Accredited service providers over the last nine months and their generous sharing of their experience in online working. This document is informed by that experience.
