Make a Change are pleased to publish their final evaluation, undertaken by the University of Stirling, lead by Professor Jane Callaghan.

Make a Change has been developed by Respect, in partnership with Women’s Aid Federation of England (WAFE), and delivers an early response to perpetrators of domestic abuse.  Inspired by the Women’s Aid Change That Lasts approach, and delivered by locally based organisations, we work with communities to raise awareness of help available, support professionals to develop their practice and create opportunities for change for those who use abusive behaviours in their intimate relationships alongside support for their (ex)partners.

Make a Change would like to pay special thanks to the Police, Office of Police Crime Commissioner and Local Authorities in Lincolnshire and East Sussex, including Brighton and Hove and to our delivery partners, Rise, Cranstoun, SoLDAS and Jenkins Centre for their work in piloting this intervention with us, and to the Home Office Police Transformation Fund in funding this work over the course of 2017 to 2020.
